The Problem
The lodge markets itself on quiet. A generator on a ridge site was commercially unacceptable, but evening occupancy load peaks hard between 18:00 and 23:00.
What We Built
Night-heavy sizing: a modest 12 kW array against a deliberately oversized 30 kWh bank, with kitchen and water heating scheduled into the solar window by the inverter's load controller.
The Result
Zero generator hours since handover. Guest reviews specifically mention the silence, which is the outcome the client actually bought.
